I would like to get a toy chest,
and possibly some other type of storage system - any suggestions?
QUESTION:Speaking of Pop Onz...how do you guys handle all of the little plastic
toys you have accumulated? Do you have separate storage containers for
each type of set? What do you store your toys in? We have the train
parts stored in plastic totes, but I need ideas for the other "little
plastic toys" and other stuff DS has. I would like to get a toy chest,
and possibly some other type of storage system - any suggestions? The
plastic bits, puzzle parts and magnetic letters all over the family
room are driving me *crazy*!!!
ANSWER: We have a closet dedicated to rotating out toys and storing toys that are
not age-appropriate. It had once stored tools, so the entire back wall is
pegboard with hooks. I use those to hang plastic grocery bags full of small
items. On the shelves we stack books and delicate toys, and put other stuff
on the floor in cardboard boxes. In the living room and downstairs room
where Teddy has toys in a wicker basket. the books go in the cabinet under
our TV and now also in a milk crate.
