Are there
affordable prefab."sheds" out there that can adequately provide
weatherproof storage?
QUESTION:I have 3 studes & a 2 car garage.Public storage fees are
eating me alive.Any thoughts on an affordable way to store a car
in a weatherproof manner,short of building a garage?Are there
affordable prefab."sheds" out there that can adequately provide
weatherproof storage?Any advice would be apreciated.
ANSWER: There are "tent-like" structures available that are supposed to pretty
resistant to damage and run in the $600 dollar range. They can be
erected in a few hours and are around 10X20. The one person that has
one has used it for nearly ten years now. It does have a small hole in
the "roof," (from a tree brach that fell during the glancing blow of a
pasing hurricane), but has continued to function. The hole is
repairable but he just never got around to doing it. He is located in
New Enland.
