Storage question - california

QUESTION:

looks like my sweetie and i will be taking the plunge and purchasing our first trailer. it's a '66 aristocrat 16'. pretty basic. if we like it, there is an aljo, quite new, owned by friends in oregon and they'd let us have it for a relative song.
*so* my question: what are storage costs likely to be? of course this varies by region. we live in san francisco and assume that storage anywhere remotely in the bay area would be prohibitively expensive (though if you have price data, we'd love to hear about it!) we're thinking that we'd have to store it out where land is more plentiful - like fairfield, sacramento, davis. anywhere within two hours of here is totally acceptable. i'd really just love a ballpark amount that we may have to spend per month to store it, and any reccommendations for storage sites are all the better!

ANSWER:

I'm in the same boat as you, We are considering purchasing a trailer & the home owners (Nazi's) association in my area (Dallas/Texas) does not allow us to park RV's/trailers in driveway. I checked into a RV storage area up the road (everything in Texas is just up the road) & it is $45 bucks a month for a space that would hold a 30' trailer.
