Thinking about storing it in a POD (the Portable On-Demand Storage gig), protecting the glass, and packing very carefully.
QUESTION:Selling house and moving into an apartment for 6 months or so. Probably not going to
be able to put the Twilight Zone in the apartment. Thinking about storing it in a POD (the Portable On-Demand Storage gig), protecting the glass, and packing very carefully.
Anyone think this is a bad idea? Any problems with heat or humidity? If this is not a
bad idea, any other tips (i.e remove the backup batteries, etc.)? If it is
a bad idea, I already got a few offers for babysitters.
ANSWER: Are you're talking about a storage container? If so, IMHO, I couldn't
sit down and design a worse environment to store pins in. No
ventilation, no humidity control. North Carolina summers can be
brutal. I feel a container would just amplify those factors. Once
again, IMHO, if you have volunteers that you trust, I think everyone
would be much better off with the pins indoors being played and
enjoyed. Plus, you'll have visitation rights
