QUESTION:What is the situation with luggage storage in Paris at the moment?
Many of the storage facilities at the airports and train stations were
closed a few years ago. Is there ANY safe place you can leave your
luggage in Paris for a day?
ANSWER: As of last October, and I expect still, there are self service luggage
lockers in a lower level area of Gard du Nord.
You must pass everything thru an x-ray machine and go thru an airport
type metal dector. The lockers only accept coins in payment - I seem
to remember you pay to "lock" so you need coins at the time you leave
your luggage.
