Cheap cosmetic storage solution?
QUESTION:Cheap cosmetic storage solution?
Ugh, I'm sick of the piles of cosmetics on my dressing table. Any suggestions
for good, convenient, and cheap storage? I hate those Caboodles types of
things, and the cosmetics trunks by MAC, etc, are way to expensive.
ANSWER: -I have an "Art Bin" box I got at The Container Store for $25. It has 3 shallow
trays which fold out and a good size bottom container. I have out grown it
(thanks alt.fashion) and am going to an art supply store in search of a larger
one. I think "Art Bins" (or something similar) are available in different sizes.
I've looked at the expensive ones, and prefer this type. I especially like the
shallow trays, as I think they hold more.

Fishing tackle boxes
Art Box (from art supply store)
"Mini storage drawers" from Costco (around $25); you get a stacked set
of eight clear plastic drawers. This has saved me.
