QUESTION:I got a catalog for furniture and accessories that included a section
on home office.
One idea I got from it was to use decorative boxes. I happened to be
in Nordstrom Rack today (looking for a purse - THANKS BECKY! LOL!) and
they had these fabulous boxes - heavy cardboard with metal handles on
each end but very pretty in a variety of designs and sizes.

Now I've cleaned off the credenza and it looks really pretty, I feel
the urge to go back and get more boxes! They'd also be great for photos.
ANSWER: My house is a disaster area. It's difficult to keep any part of it tidy
when there's only one person doing the straightening up - that would be
me - and 4 others making the messes and not even putting away their own
things but leaving them to pile up. My husband doesn't even throw away
junk mail. I can only do so much in one day, and it's a chore just to
keep it from getting any worse than it is. I'm plugging away at it,
though, so maybe some time in the next few years it'll be neat
