2. CD are displayed horizontally
3. Can hold more than 300 CD's in a single unit
4. Not a revolving tower
I've searched hi and lo and cannot find anything... I've come across
LOTS of fixed CD towers but I cannot imagine having six or seven of
them side by side, this would look a bit silly. My dream solution
would be a sort of 'bookcase' but instead of shelves, it would have
hundreds of horizontal CD slots:

ANSWER: What comes to mind is the old library cabinets that
are no longer in use in the big cities 'cause libraries have computers
now. Except maybe old, rural libraries. These are cabinets on legs
(but not necessarily) that have multiple drawers that once the drawers
are removed could be wide enough to accommodate CDs. But of this I'm
not sure. The cabinets held 3"X5" cards. If not library cabinets,
there are still similar designs.
