Does anyone have any recommendations for a commercial storage company
in the west end?
QUESTION:I would like to store a Wayfarer (16 ft) over the winter in a place
which meets the following criteria:
- in Nepean (handy to Bells Corners);
- secure indoor (preferable), eg. warehouse, otherwise covered outdoor;
- easy access for boat maintenance;
- inexpensive.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a commercial storage company
in the west end?
Evicting my wife's car from our garage isn't an option, so I'm told.
ANSWER: I think there is a solution for you without evicting your wife's car
from the garage and having to lease commercial space. There are
portable garages perfect for winter boat storage and maintenance. Some
of these garages can be insulated making a perfect year-round
workshop. I don't know if you have the space for one. The cost of
these units is around $700-$1000; and that gives you around twenty
years of storage. They pay for themselves in the not too long term. My
boat has never looked better.
