QUESTION:christmas storage
I would like to get my mom some containers for her Christmas light and
ornaments, have any of you seen containers designed for this or what do you
store yours in to keep it neat and organized?
ANSWER: Here is a link to some storage containers for Christmas items.
I have three of the plastic ornament boxes with cardboard dividers and one of the Christmas light containers.
I love them as they are sturdy and keep out the dust and bugs/spiders and will last for years.
The ornament boxes are clear, so I can see the ornaments at a glance.
We keep our lights and our bead garland in the same box, and the lights and garland don't get tangled as they wrap around dividers that hang inside the box (like hanging files). I originally found these online but have found similar containers in our grocery,
Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. during the Christmas season for less expensive.
I purchased a smaller version of the ornament box at the grocery store this year for storing ribbon, bows, tape,
refill light bulbs for the tree, and other smallish holiday items that get "lost" in the bigger boxes. It is a nice container.
The top and bottom section snap apart for easy access and there is a
carrying handle on the lid. I also have a large gift wrap container where I keep the wrapping paper, tissue, and gift tags.
