QUESTION:CD Storage Solutions
For those of you fellow CD addicts, I ask you:
how do you store your CDs?
I think I have around 700-800. I have 3 diffent
wooden racks and the rest scattered across my
entertainment center and fireplace mantle.
I've been looking for another rack similar to
the ones I have, but no luck. Seems like
the mall stores only have the plastic kinds
which are cheap and suck because they have
individual slots for each CD. When you get new
ones and you want to "shift" everything down,
you have to remove all of them.
Does anyone have that tall spinning thing
that holds like 1100? I'm thinking about it.
My problem is that I don't have the wall space
to buy a giant rack.
ANSWER: -Q: For those of you fellow CD addicts, I ask you:
how do you store your CDs? A: I have about 1400 and no room in my place. I use Univenture's plastic CD
cases. They fit about 4 CD's and their artwork into the space of one jewel
case, although you do have to mangle the tray liner a bit.
The collection fits into about 4 large drawers in my computer room. -Get rid of the jewel cases and put everything in Case logic cases. You can
store away the jewel cases. I have several 100 cd books. they now have a 200 - 250 (i think). Just leave room in each one for expansion or catalog
each one on the first page. Also makes it easier to grab one for the road. (Especially the one that holds the K's)
