QUESTION:I'm trying to find an unpadded nylon/canvas storage bag that I can slip
my road bike into, sans wheels. I want to be able to toss the thing in
the back seat of my car without it ripping the interior or getting
grease all over the place. Any suggestions?
ANSWER: -You could probably pick up a tarp or painter's drop cloth at the local
hardware store. Alternately, there is a company out there that makes back
seat covers for cars to transport dogs --

I use their Basic bag for storage of my spare bike. If it's for short trips
and you would get the bike in/out often i would reconsider, it's kind of a
hassle to get the bike in with a sloppy bag. I inserted some big pieces of
cardboard in the wheel-compartments which helps a lot but the total package
becomes larger so i doubt if'll fit in the backseat of your car then.
