QUESTION:What's the best self-storage place in the Triangle?
ANSWER: -I use Exxtra Space Self-Storage out on Trinity Road. It's just over the
railroad tracks on your right as you head out of Raleigh from
Hillsborough Street. They took a direct hit from Hurricane Fran and
didn't even ruffle a single shingle. Exxtra Space has standard spaces of
all sizes and they also have climate controlled stuff. And if you can
show a need, they give 24 hour gate access through their passcode
protected gate system.
-Just on the off-chance that you own property, rather than rent:
Buy a storage building, use it, then sell it when you're done. Cheaper
than renting a unit at a facility. Perhaps you have a relative or close
friend that would put the building on their property? You could even pay
them and still come out cheaper.
