National 1.4g self storage magazine rental business: Monthly Fee?
QUESTION:There has been some heated friendly discussions between myself a
friend of mine concerning the creation of a national 1.4g self storage
magazine rental business. In other words the customer pays monthly to
store fireworks at the magazine location.
The hart of our discussion centers around how much to charge the
customer.
If your were speculating, what do you think would be a fair monthly
rental fee for a 8x5 sized magazine in Pennsylvania (extreme laws) vs.
Nevada. (relaxed laws)
Here's my guess Pennsylvania = $1,000/month and Nevada = $ 300.00 a
month.
What do you think?
ANSWER: If a person was in business of "C" and to make any profit in it, why would
you rent a 8 x 5 container?
If I was going to be in business in "C" the busy months you couldn't keep
enough fireworks in a 8 X 5 container and lose by not having enough. On the
off season why would you want any stock if your not moving it and again to
pay.
When a person can get a trailer for less then 1,000 again why would you want
to rent a 5 x 8
When I can ship for less than $300 for the amount of fireworks you can get
in a 5 x 8 container why rent.
You better do your homework- or maybe try 1.3 where it might be logical- But
then you have the BATF!
